Lisa has been a physiotherapist for over 20 years and is well-known for her special interest in the pelvic floor. As a mother of three children and a qualified personal trainer, she is an advocate for safe return to exercise post-pregnancy. Her passion drove her to write and co-produce The Core & The Floor - New Zealand’s first post-pregnancy exercise programme; which has helped thousands of women get in shape after birth. She has written for several parenting publications and appeared on Television multiple times advocating the importance of pelvic floor health.
Lisa holds a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia (1999), along with certificates in personal training and functional nutrition. She is committed to ongoing education and regularly attends and teaches courses in the fields of pelvic health and fitness.
Lisa is a current and active member of Physiotherapy New Zealand’s Pelvic, Women's and Men's Health Special Interest group, Continence New Zealand, International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) and is the former New Zealand representative of the the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Pelvic & Women's Health (IOPTPWH).
Lisa passionately believes in providing best-practice therapy; focused on the patients individual needs, in a compassionate and nurturing environment.
My mission is to provide compassionate, patient centred physiotherapy for men and women in a nurturing and empowering environment
